Portmarnock Community School Adult Education Programme:\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pickleball is going from strength to strength in Portmarnock!<\/p>\n

A racquet sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and is\u00a0created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.<\/p>\n

Novice class on Wednesday evenings\u00a0 (This class is suited to students with previous pickleball experience.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beginner class on Thursday evenings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wednesday 15th January 2025\u00a0 –\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a012\u00a0 weeks\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a07 – 8:30pm – Novice (players with some experience)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a070\u00a0 euro<\/strong><\/p>\n

About the Tutor: Debbie Brown
\nDebbie Brown is a California native and former college tennis player and a
\nthree-time national champion squash player in the over 35 and 40 age
\ngroups, winning the silver medal in the World Masters in Portland, Oregon.
\nShe has played squash in World Masters events in Melbourne, Australia,
\nand both Sheffield and Birmingham, England, and she represented Ireland
\nin Home Internationals.
\nDebbie was the Assistant Squash coach at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club
\nin California, for over 22 years, having obtained a Level 2 certified squash
\ncoach designation with US Squash.\u00a0 She is also a British Padel \u2013 Level 1
\ncertified padel coach and she holds a Tennis Ireland Level 1 certification.
\nShe is currently the Padel Director at Portmarnock Sports &amp; Leisure and
\nshe is the Youth Development Director with Squash Link, Dublin Tennis
\nDirector at Malahide Castle Tennis.
\nDebbie is an International Pickleball Federation Ambassador and has
\nplayed in pickleball tournaments throughout Europe. She brought the first
